San Teodoro, Oriental Mindoro
I am doing this blog as one of my requirement in Environmental Management Seminar. Honestly, this is the first time that I will prepare a blog. I find it very hard to choose a subject for my blog about environment. Finally, I decided to write about my hometown. I want to share to you the beauty of the town. Why? What is its relevance to environment? I just want to show to everyone that there is a need for us to protect beautiful places that still exist on planet Earth.
Let me first give you little information on the profile of San Teodoro
San Teodoro is one of the fifteen (15) municipalities of the province of Oriental Mindoro. It is 30 kilometers away from
It has a total land area of 369.10 sq. km. Its rich fertile soil give birth to harvest the major crops like coconut, rice, citrus, bananas, root crops, vegetables and fruit trees. The municipality is very much known for being rich in mineral deposits such as gold, copper, iron, white clay, sand, gravel and boulders. It became famous for being the largest gold reservoir in the province. The municipality is also the province's best bet in forest reserves.
San Teodoro is a fourth class municipality with a total population of 15,523 scattered in its eight (8) barangays. Fishing is the major economic activity while farming is next to it. There are 113 business establishments registered with the municipal government majority of which are engaged in trading.

San Teodoro is a scenic place, Ma'am! When shall we have an environmental exploration in your hometown kaya?

TumugonBurahinmeron tayo napuntahan dati nung mag-Mangyan Mission tayo pero ndi ko alam kung kasama yun sa mga nakapost dito... sana makarating uli kami dyan sa inyo... yung beachside malapit sa inyo ang the best so far na napuntahan ko... very relaxing

TumugonBurahinI like the tamaraw falls. Hope we can see tamaraws in the area. I'm sure the water is clean and fit for swimming. San Teodoro's folks are lucky to have this scenic spot within their locality. Hope they will take care of it so that future generations will also enjoy it.
TumugonBurahinNapakaganda ng mga tanawin. Tunay na napakayaman ng San Teodor at napakapalad ng mga taga rito na mayroon pang ganitong natatanging ganda ng kalikasan. Ang sinumang mamalas sa angkin nyang kariktan ay mabibighani sa angking halina, mga batis na gumaganyak na di lang pagmasdan manapa'y maramdaman ang lamig na tubig na papawi sa pagal na katawan at pupukaw sa damdamin ng pagpupuri sa kadakilaan ng Manlilikha.
TumugonBurahinnaks,,di po pala natin napuntahan lahat ng magandang lugar dyan nung ngoutreach program tayo..di ko po makakalimutan ung pglalangoy natin sa ilog ng ariguy..sobrang lamig ng tubig at ang linis pa.pati na din po ang mahabang byahe sakay ng dump truck sa bundok ng ariguy. ang gaganda po ng tanawin at kitang-kita ang mga ito mula sa tuktok ng bundok.. sana po ay makabisita ulit tayo dun pati na din sa mga kweba at talon na di matatawaran ang kagandahan.
